We might have had a “Mad Scientist” moment with our latest creation, but the results are undeniable. Looking to maximize their total square footage without cashing in their 401(k), Ronell and Rosa of Waverly, Va. capitalized on our custom engineering to outfit a truly remarkable building.
Ronell is one of the best builders and handymen in his community. You can tell by the impressive slab of concrete in the picture that he knows the construction business like we know metal buildings. He wanted his custom prefabricated metal building to live up to his reputation. So, who did he call? Steel Building Garages, of course! He wanted a name that he could trust that knew a thing or two about building custom metal buildings from scratch. (By the way, we have nearly 40 years of experience building precise metal buildings in the southeast alone!).
The prettiest barn in the valley…
Ronell’s custom steel metal building is as simple as it is ingenious. They started out with a top-of-the-line Valley barn with a 3:12 pitch and added two enclosed lean-tos with a 1:12 pitch. Simple enough, right? Well, they didn’t stop there. Ronell needed a little extra room for his burgeoning contracting business but didn’t want to change the barn’s original dimensions of 10’ x 41’. So, what did he do? He did what any sensible businessman would do. Instead of scraping the blueprints altogether, he put his years of building experience to good use and simply added another layer to this cake of a building. The added lean-on is aesthetically pleasing as it is sensible. Ronell increased his floor space with minimal overhead (no pun intended!).
