On Thursday, May 22 2014, the country was shocked to see quarter-sized hail falling in their yards. The hail storms hit much of the Northeastern and Midwestern United States, and in their wake, left thousands of dollars of damaged property. Per this article from My Fox Philly, one building had every window broken, and many cars were totaled. Tow truck drivers in the area said that thousands of cars will need repairs after Thursday’s hail storms.
