All of our buildings are built with top of the line steel. Whether you’re purchasing a garage, carport, barn, lean-to building, RV cover, or commercial metal building you’re getting a highly engineered building. and It’s also one of the most popular construction materials in the entire world, and has also been used to build the most impressive structures in recent history. The future bodes well for steel, and you may see yourself one day going to something that is akin to the Eiffel tower on vacation. For now, you can still visit some amazing steel structures built all over the world. Here are in our opinion the top three.

Eiffel Tower

How man movies have depicted the romantic locale of Paris, France as the center of artistic humanity? This monumental structure was at once thought to be an eyesore, and now holds the vision of any tourist for longer than possibly any building truly should. It was built in 1887 for the World’s fair. It was almost not finished due to political disagreements on the aesthetic with steel being one of the primary areas of concern. It stands now as an architectural marvel of engineering and artistic compromise. No building is quite as recognizable and sturdy as the Eiffel tower. It was at a time the world’s tallest structure, but has since handed the title over to the Chrysler building built in the early 20th century, which was also usurped. If the possible beauty of steel ever need be held in contention, one must only discuss the Eiffel tower to stifle any opposition. Will a building ever be as iconic as the Eiffel tower? No one can truly say.

Empire State Building

New York has it’s fair share of monumental architectural feats, and the Empire State building is a crowning ornament to say the least. The building began construction in 1929 and as a testament to the marvelous lightness and ease of construction involved with steel in only took a little over a year to build one of the most famous buildings in the world. Renovations have been completed on the building at various moments throughout it’s timeline, but it remains a landmark of American ingenuity and artistic vision. Steel is absolutely the strongest material in the force of American construction, and the Empire State Building is proof.

Willis Tower (Sears Tower)

The Sears Tower is one of the tallest buildings in the world. It’s been featured in many feature films and rightly so we might add. It’s construction began in 1970, and it tooke three years to rise to the talles building in the world of it’s time. The Twin towers surpassed it some time later. The construction of the Willis tower is a testament to the possibilities of steel, as it’s unique construction gave way to inspire future architects. The area of the foundation is actually a 3 x 3 square carried upwards and reinforced significantly. The Willis tower goes above and beyond, just like Steel Building Garages.
